Summarize YouTube and other videos for Muse.

Demo gateway: summaries are stub summaries hashed from the video URL — no captions are fetched and no paid summarizer is called.

MCP endpoint
https://api.muse.telep.io/mcp/sumvid — streamable HTTP, JSON-RPC 2.0. Methods: initialize, tools/list, tools/call.

Auth
Authorization: Bearer <api-key> on every call. Calls are scoped to the key.

MCP tools

check_credentials

Validate Sumvid API credentials with GET /v1/account. Does not summarize a video. Demo mode skips the provider. A 402 from Sumvid surfaces insufficient_credits and topUpUrl when the API sends one.

Takes no parameters.

summarize_youtube

Summarize a YouTube URL or 11-character video id. Demo mode hashes a stub from the video id. test/live mode calls POST {SUMVID_API_BASE_URL}/v1/summaries and can spend Sumvid credits.

get_summary
