Register a domain name (WHOIS privacy planned).

Demo gateway: availability checks are simulated and registrations are drafts only — no real registrations. WHOIS privacy is planned (the stub sets whoisPrivacy: true on drafts; no registrar privacy is applied). Planned provider: OpenSRS / Tucows reseller track (not wired).

Auth
Authorization: Bearer <api-key> on every call. Calls are scoped to the key.

MCP tools

check_credentials

Validate OpenSRS reseller credentials with a LOOKUP of example.com. Does not register a domain. Demo mode skips OpenSRS.

Takes no parameters.

check_domain

Check whether a domain is available and its price. Read-only. Demo mode is a local stub. test/live mode calls OpenSRS LOOKUP.

register_domain

Prepare a DomainSend registration draft for a domain name (1-2 year term). Returns a review URL. Does not register anything — the human must review the domain, term, and price and pay.

Pricing: $14.99 / year for .com (planned). Nothing is billed while the gateway is a stub.
